Many students have faced challenges beyond their control during that academic period.It would be more fair to assess the 22–23 batch with leniency due to academic disruptions and mental health challenges many faced during that time. A year back could severely affect students' careers and morale. Alternative academic solutions should be explored for the 22–23 batch.

Complaining against "year back" Shahil Subject: Complaint Regarding "Year Back" Regulation Details and Request for Consideration Respected ABDUL KALAM TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY , I hope this email finds you well. My name is shahil , and I am writing to express my concerns regarding the "year back" regulation enforced by Kerala Technological University (KTU), which profoundly affects students currently in their sixth semester, including myself. The "year back" policy mandates that students with insufficient credits from the first four semesters (below 47) face the severe consequence of repeating a year or being transferred to another university. This regulation has ignited significant distress among students and has underscored several pressing issues that require immediate attention and resolution. While acknowledging the importance of maintaining academic standards, the current application of this regulation appears to overlook the individual circumstances and challenges that students may confront throughout their academic Journey. Many students, myself Included, have encountered unforeseen obstacles or personal setbacks that have hindered our ability to fulfill the credit requirements within the stipulated timeframe. These challenges encompass a spectrum ranging from health Issues to financial constraints and difficulties on less working days and no consideration in supplementary exarns. In light of these concerns, I urge the university administration to reconsider its stance on the "year back" regulation and to extend a lifeline to students who find themselves in such precarious circumstances. Specifically, I Implore the university to undertake the following actions: 1. Provide additional support and guidance to assist students In meeting the credit requirements and overcoming academic challenges. 2. Implement flexible measures, such as supplementary assessments or alternative credit-earning opportunities, to accommodate students facing extenuating circumst

Year back system should be removed.

There no need of yearback , because many of the students writing exam with their full of effort and valuation is very tough,irrelevant barriors giving to it.Valuation is conducting not in the right way.

Please help us to improve our career by removing this year back system

Their are students who were unable to write the supplementary exams due to some reasons so a second chance should be given to them
