This petition is circulated among the 100 homes of Saddle Bridge Subdivision of Johns Creek Georgia in an effort to achieve 50% approval necessary to join Johns Creek's Police and Community Together (PACT) program as a proactive step towards establishing a neighborhood watch program. The program is managed by Johns Creek Police. In the program, a PACT officer is assigned to each residential neighborhood or homeowner's association (HOA). The officer acts as a liaison and develops a relationship with the neighborhood, meeting on a regular basis to discuss concerns residents may have and sharing safety information. Also, participants in the program receive COPS Connect, a monthly e-newsletter with crime stats, safety tips and neighborhood crime updates. Crime Alerts, when necessary, are also sent by email to subscribers of COPS Connect.
