Koshukhatt is a pivotal system of transliteration for the Kashmiri community.
FUTO stands for user freedom, accessibility and decentralization. Adding Koshurkhatt aligns with this vision by giving our community a tool to express ourselves digitally.
Our commitment to demonstrate real demand, we have conducted a ms forms survey where community members voice their support.

Integration of koshurkhat into FUTO keyboards.
We believe adding this feature will strengthen FUTOs impact and get them more users and affirm the role as the most accessible open source keyboard for diverse languages.

Kashmiri language has 5000 years old roots. And it is super underserved language especially in digital domain.
We need our language on there. Our identity and language is threatened by the extinction.
