Petition to add a Fire Station in the 85085

I live in the Fireside at Norterra community and response times to this area are slower than average for the city of Phoenix. This area has grown rapidly the last few years with many multi-family apartment buildings going up as I write this. A new fire station at I-17 and Jomax would greatly improve the current situation.

Please build the fire station as quickly as possible.

We need a closer fire station. There are far to many homes here (& they continue to build). My understanding was that one would be built at Jomaz/Norterra Parkway. What is the estimated construction date?

We live at Central and Briles area.

We need to allow the county island neighborhoods a way to have tax based access to the city of phoenix fire services.

Phx Fire Station 55 at I-17 & Jomax is desperately needed for the safety of this growing community.

Being a City of Phoenix Firefighter and raising a family in the Norterra community, it's an absolute must to have quicker response times for our large and growing larger community! Tragedies have already taken place and gone unnoticed in our community for too long. Let's make this happen!

We really do need a fire department closer to our area especially since our community has grown so rapidly in the last several years.

Please put in a fire station with an additional fire engine and ambulance in this location!

I bought my house (which was next to a dead-bush along backside of I-17) for one reason only, the "coming soon fire station" sign right down the street less than 1 mile away. That was in 2008, 9 years later...nothing. For shame.

Get this built, those brush fires last week on the 303 could have been stopped with a closer unit and more personel as well as the mulch fire last year that would have been their first due area. Response times are ridiculous.

The proximity of the Norterra community to the Phoenix Sonoran Preserve brings added responsibility of the city to provide expedient fire protection and rescue to the area.

Norterra has greatly increased in population. With this influx of residents there is increased need for emergency services, such as, a fire station.

We need a fire station to cover the growing area in north Phoenix and fill in the gap that deserves service as well
