This area is in desperate need of a closer fire station! The current response time is usually 10 mins. I had to perform CPR on a neighbors little girl who was found at the bottom of the pool. It took them 10 mins to arrive. The little girl died. :(

The long response times indicate that there is a need in our community. What happened to the station that was supposed to go up near Jomax? Once USAA builds that community we can expect even longer waits, not to mention all of the new apartment complexes going up.

Recently a girl drowned in the neighborhood and the response time was 12 minutes. Many are experiencing 15 minute waits. It's unacceptable. Building keeps occurring with massive apartments going up, along with more residential developments.
