Words can not fully express the kind of damage this strike has caused us all, and I bet, it is obvious to both the government and the ASUU, why prolonging our sufferring? are they really our fathers and mothers? its hightime they took a decision and have us returned to school. 'enough is enough', (borrowed dat from dem)

whoever thought of this has done well to have brought this up so that the nigerian student can stand up.am proud and happy to b involve in this cause a philosopher said and I quote "if you are struggling it means nobody struggled for but,but if you are not struggling now it means someone struggled for you"we are struggling now because nobody did that for us and we want the coming generation to enjoy what it means to have quality and undisturbed education we the present day nigeria student we stand to voice our revolution on the way education is taken this is our cry our lament our distress and with one voice we say enough of the strike action

I join thousands of young, talented and determined Nigerian students in calling on the Academic Staff Union of Nigerian Universities(ASUU)to suspends the strike which it embarked upon on July 1 2013. If nothing, the interest of the Nigerian student,at the receiving end of this shutdown of schools, should be the basis for the call off. I pray for the repose of the soul of Prof Festus Iyayi even as I ask God to grant his family, associates, the academia,as well as our great country the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss of the colossus which Prof Iyayi indeed was. Thanks.

i really dont know d connection between the death of iyayi and calling off the strike. the dead is gone and here you are jeopardising the future of the youth. it is rather unfortunate that education is taken for granted in this our country. this is a wake up call to asuu to call off the strike or else there would be a revolution of nigerian students. trust me!

this unnecessary prolonging of the asuu strike is a proof of asuu's insincerity and anti students attitude.one wud av expected an immediate suspension of the strike but d idea of hiding behind iyayi's death to inflict more pains on students has exposed their political drive and has made them lose the confidence they enjoyed frm nigerians.this is therefore a call on asuu to end this strike and gain back their popularity.obamzy
