With the evolution of football facemasks because of players like Justin Tuck and Robert Mathis producing masks with increased function, style, and protective quality, this petition calls for the NFL to repeal their ban on customizing facemasks for any player, regardless of "medical exemption." Just because a player does not currently need an excuse to wear a facemask that provides extra protection does not mean he should be denied the ability to wear something that will only do such a thing!
