What these guys are accusing him of are baseless and most of these accusing people themselves can be evidenced with hate speeches that they made or supported if they are traced back.We strongly oppose such a racist act in the 21st century.

You cannot be a good role model to African Americans when you call them by the pejorative N word. Likewise, you cannot be a good role model to the Oromo people by calling them by the pejorative names given to them by the Abyssinian oppressive backward feudal regimes. My great grandmother, my grandmothers and grandfather, my father and mother and the entire community members have never been calling themselves Galla as far as I have known it. I felt the pain of at a small town calked Guder, about 25 kilometers away from my birthplace of Dirree Incinnii. The further you go to the big cities like Finfinne/Addis Ababa, the more you feel the pain of the psychological warfares and dehumanization campaigns against the Oromo people and it was very hard to find a proud Oromo who confidently speaks our language, Afan Oromoo, on the streets of Finfinne/Addis Ababa and other big cities in Oromia. This person officially assaulted and used the equivalent of N word on ESAT TV and he must apologize to the Oromo people. He is not even fit to teach tolerance to kids in college.

He told the truth. Those who are againt the truth like OLF and their allies Ginbot 7 are mad about it. The voice of Ginbot 7, Esat shows their journalistic ability by doing this. Shame on Esat and their allies and LONG LIVE PROFESSOR HAILE LAREBO!!!!

Professor Haile Larebo is a distinguished scholar and an advocate cultural understanding, and peaceful coexistence among people across the globe including over 80 ethnic groups who live in Ethiopia for over 3000 years. Morehouse College, the alma mater of many African American leaders, including Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., should continue supporting Professor Larebo in the face of the hate campaign and alleged false claim that his remark about the Oromo ethnic group in Ethiopia is "racist".

Professor Haile Larebo shared discussing a historical topic for which he has expertise. His explanations or views on historical topics in Ethiopia need to be seen as an exercise of academic freedom. It is a scholarship and he should not be blamed for not being partisanship to politically charged radical ethnic politics activism.

If we really support the integrity and continuation of Ethiopia as a country , we have to support the famous and indigenous historian of prof. Haile Laribo proof of facts about Ethiopian without any objection as given on the interview by Esat Media.

He just spoke the truth and some radical ethno-national Oromos are not happy about his recent comment. He narratives demolishes their history which is created upon falsehood for the sake of ideological purposes.
