The professor comment is not offensive at all; and his comment is to tell the historical and cultural aspect of Oromo community in Ethiopia; cowboy or in Amharic 'iregna' is not offensive word unless you want use it different way; in general 'iregna' has two meenings one is saver the other is cowboy; so why the OLF group offended!!

The group that hate professor are those who had been teaching hate among ethnic groups to divide so it will be convinenet for their polerical agenda. Professor Haile Larebo, explain the truth, like a true scholar, based on evidence and respect. Those who is not for the truth come out to protest, not just for him but for those who sparked the truth.
There is no hate in his speech at all, he explain the truth with facts. Facets are not always pleasant.
