I believe the professor exercised his freedom of education. What he has said about the Oromo people of Ethiopia is historical. He didn't plan to attack but to reach our own history.

He told the right story to the people, if you don't agree with him then bring your own history and discuss. Don't blame him because he told you the story that you don't want to hear rather try to argue and discuss as a civilized society. By defaming his personality it shows how poor you are.

History have no context, It has to be told as it is recorded. Professor Larebo did not invent words nor did he omit words to suit his political or personal view. He is a good historian and told history as it is.

This is freedom of expression. He can be part of any public debate and he can contribute for historical discourse. Moreover, he did not spoke anything that offends others or denigrate a certain group.
