Everyone is thinking outside the box to make an income! He tried to help out fellow competitors! I see no issue.

It is disappointing to see how some choose to spend their time when there are so many businesses struggling. This is a none issue: the vote affected all restaurants and who knows what's best for them than an owner? Drop it already. Mike Wiebe is a great public servant and a valued member of the community.

Patios are benefitting the hospitality industry across the country not just Vancouver. Ridiculous waste of resources
With this claim.

I fully support Mike and the good he does for a better city for us all. He is being persecuted by people who disagree with his politics.

I support Michael in his actions 100%. He did the right thing. No conflict of interest in supporting all restaurant's.

There is nothing that indicates this was done for self-interest. He should be commended for stepping up and taking action, not persecuted for being a small business owner.

Mike is a standup guy and doesn't benefit any more than the rest of us in this situation. The conflict of interest is ridiculous. In no way could this motion have benefitted him any more than the entire city's population of increasingly struggling restaurants.

Keep it up, and nobody of quality will want to run for office. Mike put the community first and he should be applauded for speaking up for an entire industry.

This initiative was helpful not just for restaurants but for all Vancouverites who could enjoy a meal outside of their homes.
