I completely disagree with this plan. It shouldn't be decided by a group of select individuals if a homeless encampment is okay in our community. We made a decision to buy a home in Sammamish so we could be in a safe environment and raise our children in safe neighborhoods. If I wanted to live next door to the homeless I would have chosen to live in Seattle not Sammamish. There is a reason we live out here in Sammamish and it certainly not to entertain the homeless. We don't pay exorbitant property taxes so it could be over run by the homeless and everything else that it brings along with it. How on Earth a small group of people can jeopardize the safety our community is beyond me. If these people really want to help the homeless, please by all means take them into your home and then we'll see how you like it. But please don't force the rest of the community to do have to put up with this. We all love to put our stamp on charities because we feel like we are doing something good for society and our souls but knowingly bringing trouble to our community is not the way to do it. I vote no for this disastouras idea!

That’s ridiculous. At sammamish, it’s far away from everywhere. What do you expect for the homeless to dind some entertainment with the kids at the school nearby?
