I have a kid at Skyline high school plus we are visiting the Library all the time. How do we know that all people in the homeless tents have clean backgrounds and will not attempt to roam the area, steal or consume drugs.

I am all for supporting and helping people, but this is definitely not the right way.
1. Sammamish is a suburban area which is close to nowhere. We don't even have enough facilities and transportation options. why do you think building a tent city here would help people?
2. The site is too close to schools and communities. Who will be responsible for criminal warrant checks and the safety of kids and residents around?
3. Sammamish has a good reputation for a clean and safe community for a long time and that is why many people like me moved here. So what is the plan to avoid ruining this with this plan?
4. Instead of building a tent city, There are many other betters ways to help those people.
Without addressing all those concerns. I completely disagree with this plan.

I choose to purchase my property in Sammamish because it is peaceful, safe, and has good schools. I strongly against the proposal of setting homeless tents beside our houses. It will ruin our community.
