We, the undersigned gadget fans, are saddened by the proposed changes to the Gadget Show on Channel 5, in the UK. We love the presenters that remain but it is felt that the departure of Ortis Deley, Jon Bentley and Suzy Perry and format changes will lead to a decline of the show that we love, possibly resulting in the eventual cancellation of the show. We therefore petition the BBC, ITV or Channel 4 to commission an alternative show aimed at the large number of science, tech and gadget fans in the UK. The show could perhaps be a resurrection of the Tomorrow's World brand; the revamped Top Gear has proved a runaway ratings success after all. Maybe the ousted Gadget Show hosts could be brought in as presenters of a new show? The potential audience is huge and there's a real need in the UK to stimulate interest in STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics). So come on Commissioning Editors, give us a show worth watching!
