Our country is not even 300 years old yet. Why are we so quick to destory our history. So sad. European contries still have dwellings standing from the 11 century.

As a community, we must be more thoughtful regarding our urban planning. It may be financially cheaper to demolish a structure like this but what we loose is priceless.

Louisville needs to preserve our historical landmarks. This home has so much history and stories to be told. Please please do not let it be demolished. It is part of our city & huge history of that particular neighborhood that should NOT be erased by tearing it down.

They are tearing down the History of of Metro Louisville, (West-End, Portland, Russell, California District and they have made their way to the Highland District. Enough of this madness, Leave our communities Along. I ride through the Highland to see the History and Richness of that Community. The History of this Community and other are being torn down without true communities input. When we find out they have made a decision without the proper channels and their friends that are developers or want the land get their wishes done to the property and the community has to suffer behind these illegal actions.

I live in this area and I am tried of seeing the historic areas of the Highlands torn down to make way for developers to make money off this area.
