I read in the sporting press a few years ago about a trainer that had been found guilty of using a prohibited substance, the following night he was presented with Trainer of the year award. This was sickening to watch. should your dog be tested in public which is the case , then you should have the results of that test announced / published.Fair play is good sport.

time for the truth, who wants to use stud dogs that have failed dope tests, who wants to buy pups from a brood who has failed tests, who wants there dogs competing against or tained by these cheats, No one....

If the IGB do not act now then a class action by owners/trainers should be taken for lost prize money due to drug cheats and one can only conclude the total lack of action by the igb top deal with this matter that they are also guilty and can be held liable

im not just signing this petetion to stop so called big trainers havint the upper hand in a race but im also signing it for the health and safety of the greyhound, trainers and owners administrating drugs they have no clue about to gain a lenght on a dog,i really hope this stops, its ruining racing and its ruining breeding,!!

When these drug cheats are fined the fine is not enough to stop them doing it again. If it were horse racing they would be banned from racing for 5 years, not a minimal fine and a slap on the wrist. All we are asking for is a level playing field.

No-one caught using banned substances on a greyhound should be protected by the very Organisation set up to uncover cheats !! Defies logic !

like any sport I agree there should be no place in greyhound racing for drugs. any trainer or owner found guilty should be fined and banned. however I don't believe all top trainers administer drugs to their dogs.. some do.. some do not.. there are some very good trainers who have good dogs and don't need to cheat.
