Physical graduation better

The moment when I received an invitation for virtual graduation, I feel so sad and sorry for my family as they can’t celebrate me and can’t see me on the stage getting a scroll. They are waiting for this for over a year after my study completed. So, please I don’t want to break my family’s heart and me too. I hope SEGi can change it to a physical graduation instead of virtual graduation.

Dear SEGi, We understand the initiatives of SEGi of conducting the graduation ceremony virtually as considerate current pandemic issue. However, we sincerely urged that SEGI could put yourself in someone's place as every students deserve the fair chance to have physical graduation ceremony. It only happened once in a lifetime and it is a moment that could not be retrieved. We thank you for your consideration and looking forward to hear good news from you.

This is the only and last convo in our life. Hope can do it physically. Make our dream come true

I hope to hold a physical ceremony, whether it is postponed to 2023 or even to 2025, I am willing to wait, because I want to share this happy moment with my dear family and friends.

We all want to have a real graduation ceremony, no matter how long we can wait. This graduation ceremony means a lot to us, because it is only once for our life. YOLO !

Hi SEGi, Covid19 has already taken away some of the most important time of our student life. For most students, this will be the only time that we get to walk across a stage. All of our families and friends would like the opportunity to celebrate there monumental accomplishments. This will definitely be memorial for all of us. Although having a virtual ceremony will recognize our students, the significance of our participation in the ceremony is gone. Please take our petition into consideration before taking away an experience of a lifetime. All of us have persevered through all the obstacles we have come across and looked forward to this once in a lifetime moment that we have worked so hard for the last few years of university. We sincerely hope SEGi can consider our request and allow us to have a Physical Graduation Ceremony. Thank You

Everyone deserve to have a physical graduation

It's been a year of waiting, and we don't mind waiting for another few more months, until the situation is allow for physical graduation ceremony. Having a final goodbye with fellow classmates and faculty, and a moment of celebration with friends and family is an important life moment that we worked so hard to achieve. Please reconsider to have physical graduation ceremony instead of virtual ceremony.

Last graduation and let’s make it sweet and meaningful because not everyone get the chance to further their studies anymore after this

Hi, Sarawakian here. I would like to attend the physical graduation ceremony. But due to the current state government covid policy, we are required to quarantine for 14 days whenever we back the Sarawak. It's better to postpone the graduation ceremony further back after the policy is canceled.

I wish I can have a physical ceremony, I'm willing to wait. This is my only graduation, I hope I can celebrate with all my classmates, my lecturers as well as people who I love and love me too. This ceremony mean to me a lot, as it is one of achievement in my life.

B.sc convocation happens only once in a lifetime. We work hard for the past 4 years and we really hope that SEGi could consider our request to have a physical graduation ceremony as previously, with the presence of our friends and family, let them feel proud of our achievements. Thank you

I want a proper graduation ceremony to have the last best memory with my friends and lecturers

As the graduation ceremony is an important part of our life, we hope our families & friends able to attend our graduation ceremony physically. It is meaningless if change the graduation ceremony virtually, we hope that SEGi can consider our request, thank you.

I would like to attend the physical graduation ceremony instead of the virtual as this is the most important achievement and event that I can celebrate with my family and friends. Please consider to hold a physical convocation. Thank you.

My family and I were waiting for this moment so long and we are really disappointed on SEGi announcement where my batch who completed on Dec 2019 will having virtual graduation. This is so heartbreaking and unfairness.

We want to have a real graduation ceremony, where all of our loved ones can be there to celebrate with us.
