On duty, not patrolling, drinking, out of his district. Shoots and kills another officer.
You can't possibly consider releasing this guy.
That's not justice.

I am so sorry for your loss
I'm trying to prevent a tragedy for my daughter and son. You and your daughter deserve her killer to at least serve his sentence.

I fully support Katlyn's mother. When something involving an off duty officer, they should be subject to the same punishment as anyone else. I fully support this girls mother and this officer should not under any circumstances be paroled. He had a history of violence and there should be justice for Katlyn. DO NOT PAROLE THIS MAN!

A gross injustice. Even the 7 years is a joke...a slap in the face....more than a shame.

After listening to Katlyn mother's story I am in total agreement that two and one half year is not long enough. I do not believe seven years is long enough, but that is what the judge decided. Prayer to the families and loved on on both sides of the fence. Everyone suffered a tragic loss. But nothing compared to losing your child.

His personal poor choices while on duty as a police officer took her life. Why should he have the right to walk before his sentence ends? Where is the justice in allowing this?

No one should be above the law. This man is a threat to society. Please make him do his full time, and don't allow him to be on the Force - or to have a firearm.

I oppose early release. He should get the full sentence for shooting his fellow cop. Lord rest her soul.

Please don’t let this menace back out on the street. He hasn’t served long enough for his crime. It’s ridiculous that he’s even up for parole.

I believe he murdered her in cold blood. I don’t believe she would marry someone else if she had feelings for that imbecile. He deserves to die in prison. He knew the consequences of what he did. I believe something g more sinister happened.

It is unbearable to believe that Hendren could serve any less than the 7 years alloted. He should be in for life. Katie was a blessing to the community and the world is worse off without her!!!
