I am a victim of POLICE ABUSE. The only way I could stop the abuse was too move out of town. Look at this killer with a badge eye. WHO HIT HIM & WHY? Why is it legal for this killer too be drinking & being UA while on duty. Now if she was killed by a low income American who did not have a badge. Would the sentence be the same? I SAY NO.

He has not served near enough time for taking her life. Please give this family justice.

I agree with Aimee that he should serve his entire sentence. I stop short of agreeing that this young lady was a saint, as she apparently was willing to shoot this young man with a loaded gun.

This man should not be released. He was trusted by the public to protect and serve us. He failed at doing his duty and in the process took another defender on the publics life forever! He selfishly decided to not do his job while on duty, leave his assigned district and think only of himself.

Hendren needs to serve his full sentence. 7 years is too short also. Katie's family is living knowing she's forever gone to them. Hendren's family still has him too talk to and love.

As a mother I couldn’t even imagine loosing a child, but this is something Aimee has to live with everyday. I support LEO’s & appreciate the BS they have to deal with on a daily basis, but Kaitlyn was an Army Vet & a police officer also & deserves justice. She was shot by another officer who was on duty, out of his district & DRINKING on the job! He took a plea deal for 7 years & he should have to serve the full sentence, after all he made his own choices that night & unfortunately Kaitlyn was killed. Prayers to her mom Aimee & all of her family & friends who have to pick up the pieces & try to move on.

He needs to serve the full term. The family suffers everyday and he should be the one who suffers more. The police dept need to hold him accountable and not protect him! Justice for Kaitlin!

"I think it's absolutely disgusting that the metro police department is trying to get justice for Nathan and not for Kaitlin or her mother." This.

It is ridiculous that this crime was classed as manslaughter. Did the officer with the gun intentionally point the gun at and shoot another officer? Yes, that's exactly what he did. In what sense then is that not an intentional shooting of a fellow officer qualifying it as murder?

I think it's absolutely disgusting that the metro police department is trying to get justice for Nathan and not for Kaitlin or her mother. He got 7 yrs that's a walk in the park as someone who has done yrs in jails. I can do 7 standing on my hands. I think it's ridiculous that he's being considered for parole. He killed somebody. I've done more time because I lost my way as a young man and got caught with drugs. If I could kill people and be out in 2 yrs. You'd have a few less people on this planet this I promise you. Get this imbalance in justice straightened out please. I've never seen such blatant disrespect for katlyns family.

If he was doing what he was paid to do, he wouldn't have even been there. He deserves to spend his LIFE behind bars.

He should have gotten life in prison!! At least keep him for the full sentence. That’s the least they could do after he killed this beautiful young woman. Her life matters!!

Let him rot in jail for the full 7 years. I hope he has many boyfriends in prison wanting him to stay.

He needs to do the 7 years he was sentenced to. He was on-duty..drinking and behaving recklessly and took the life of another officer. The average citizen would be treated more harshly.

This person was a law enforcement officer and abuse his position and dies not deserve parole. He should be required to serve his full sentence. He was supposed to uphold the law and knew the consequences 9f his actions. Full time sentence
