This is to petition the procedure of grading the 5% of Class Active Participation in ECON 201102. In the course syllabus Class Active Participation is stated as "explaining answers of questions from the lectures andthe problem sets that have been turned in." However, the course instructor has not been grading students on the course syllabus but on basis outside this definition such as student conduct. Moreover, upon individuals requesting documentation of their performance according to the Student Conduct, the instructor was not able to provide any. Hence, we are kindly asking to be graded on the 5% of Active Participation based on the syllabus as stated above.
