Price raise is too drastic and not fair for outer islands

We need to be very careful on how we draft policies. We need to ensure we get input from stakeholders across the islands as each economic climate is quite different .

A meeting before the new fees take effect is requested.

This is just to much for Local Business Owners.

Economies of scale justifies why a blanket raise across islands is not sustainable. 300% raise for an economy that did not have the same growth as others is unethical and financially irresponsible.

I have a registered and struggling short term vacation rental on North Caicos. The cost of the docs alone prior to renewal is too much. Fees for the twin islands should be reconsidered in our interest. Plus, some of us have to deal with bad roads or no roads to our properties acquired from government . Whatever the nature of the business, we pay government taxes, so we need to be heard.

These increased business license fees are unjust, disproportionate, and show a lack of consideration for the realities faced by small businesses, particularly in the outer islands.
