Petition of OBJECTION to AB417, relating to: Face-to-face sales of home baked goods by unlicensed, home bakers

This is the worst proposal I have ever heard of. Do you Really want Donald Trump as President.

STUPID bill. What's next, imprisoning and fining mom for baking a batch of cookies for her family because she is not "licensed"? This is a bill about greed, not food safety.

I will not buy from someone who is not licensed!

The same rules should apply to all bakery manufactures and the kitchens they use to keep consumers safe and free from harm and biological, physical and chemical contaniments.

Being a small business has been the most challenging adventure in the State of Wisconsin, I've ever taken. As a 100% owned women business, that staffs single moms, displaced works, staff with disabilities, I have 21 people that depend on their pay check. My operating expenses, that include workers comp, employee tax and unemployment, are daunting, but we keep moving forward every day for the sake of the employees we employee and the community we serve. Everyone selling food should be required to operate in a licensed kitchen and have food safety training.

Please reconsider the idea of passing this bill. It's not good for protecting the public against health related issues. This will be the demise of many small family bakeries who cannot compete with others that don't have expense of taxes and other related business issues. Thank you.

Why should Susie homemaker be able to profit from her home kitchen,under cut professional legitimate business owners and not be subject to the same laws,regulations and taxes that business owners do?

As president of the Wisconsin Bakers Association I feel we all need an equal playing field possibly a license system rated according to how much money is made . The small bakery's are already being attacked by the competition of the big guys and all the illegal bakeries and are a endangered species .we might as well throw out all the food laws and let buyers beware .think of all the money we could save if we got rid of the agriculture department and food inspection.

All bakeries including home bakers should be under the same requirements.

as a person who works in health care, I find this bill more than idiotic. There are so many people being effected by food borne illnesses with sources that are regulated. I can't even imagine the ramifications of having food sold without regulations attached.

This bill does not consider health and legal ramifications. It puts catering/event facilities in a difficult position regarding liability of carry-in baked goods. The argument that it is no different than pickle bill is absurd. There is no comparison. I know many women who do cakes from their unlicensed kitchens where dogs and cats are free to roam and snotty nose kidshelp. If this bill goes through then what is the point of having registered kitchens for the rest of us?
