I am in favor of an injunction pending a public hearing on having and exporisoner ad drug addict treatment facility at 2 Washington Street. I am sure a more appropriate neighborhood without young children can be found to support this cause.

I agree that given how many young children are in this neighborhood, there are more ideal locations for this otherwise worthwhile facility.

Its a very family oriented neighborhood with playgrounds and streets fool of children, its insane to put this clinic in this location!

As a psychiatric nurse I am more than in support of such a facility, but TriBeCa is absolutely not an appropriate setting considering the neighborhood & number of children! Please relocate.

I am worried for our kids and young ones

How could my preteen/teen daughters ever walk alone in the neighborhood when this facility opens... They couldn't. This is absurd

I thought we were trying to revitalize the downtown area not degrade it.

We are opposed to this facility in the proposed location.

We in Battery Park City already donate $300M in "tax overpayment" to the City of NY to plug holes in the budget EVERY year. Enough is ENOUGH

This will expose a good and peaceful neighborhood to bad elements.

I do not want this built in a residential neighborhood, it will bring increased crime and problems to the area.

It's becoming quite apparent that the people making these decisions still think that the area below Chambers Street is all commercial a la 1995. So many buildings have been (and continue to be) converted to housing, and families such as ours choose to live here because of safety, proximity to public transportation and access to excellent public schools.

I’ve seen and understand the concept of “mainstreaming” and/or “inclusion” in various forms. We already seen mainstreaming first hand in our public schools and the impact it has on our children and families-compared to the children from overseas. We’ve seen the amount of resources-money; “man power” is needed to accomplish this. Although promises were made to “fund” these projects, budget cuts and depletion of resources made this task difficult. These broken promises and lack of resources resulted in additional burden to that community and surrounding communities. NOT GOOD FOR OUR CHILDREN, FAMILIES, AND COMMUNITY!

Terrible idea! There is a daycare next door!!

Move this facility to an area beyond where families and respectable people live.
