As of August 29, 2016 the Medical University of Lublin tuition fees will be raised for all attending medical students. This change has garnered significant reaction from the medical student body. The European Parliament will do our best to represent medical students on the matter, in a collective letter to the Medical University Authorities. In order, to have student views best represented please sign the e-petition to keep tuition costs the same. Due to the summer holidays this is the most effective method to gather a cumulative effort. The petition list will be printed and support the letter addressed to the University Deans.

the tuition fee too hight for what we can afford as students, bare in mind that we have less courses in the 4,,5 and 6 th year.
We've signed a contract at the beginning of our 6 years medical course taking into consideration the budget we can afford. We would like to have details of the changes in curriculum that would eventually justify this significant raise.
The tuition fee was already raised by 500 euro when we started on 2. year. To increase it by additionally 700 euros means that it has been increased by 1200 since we started.
As an Irish student as well as students from other countries I do not receive any loans for the tuition fee each year. Any additional rise in the fee can be a significant challenge.
I dont this sudden increement is appropriate for the elder students, some of us have saved up for this from before and pay from our own pocket, we cannot afford any changes like this, even when we work some summer, we have other bills to pay! And beside we should have had much more time in advance for this as i would have changed school! This is totally unacceptable.
The main issue here should not necessarily be about the sudden increase of the tuition fee. Neither should it be about the disorganized structure and quality offered during the everyday curricula. The main issue with the Medical University of Lublin is simply the lack of empathy for students. There is no other institute, at least to my knowledge, that presents such a cold-hearted attitude towards people. I truly hope the university administration starts to act fairly from a more humane and moral standpoint.
this school does not deserve to raise tuition. Dean office is very slow in planning scheduling and communication is always bad. Gym is not available to students at all times. School, rotation at hospitals are often NOT organized. what the heck....

We in the 5th year have still not received a plan for our 6th year. The Deans Office dont even know how its going to be for us. And now they want to increase the fees because this is a direct result of an increase in program general costs? When they dont even know how the program would look like. I need to see the program/plan for my last two academic years and see how this increase is necessary.
