Petition in support of the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s struggle to institute a law concerning JMBG (ID No. / social security number). Hypocritical Bosnian politicians who have constantly been using the rhetoric of nationalism have now failed to institute a federal law about JMBG. As a consequence, no child born after February 12, 2013 has received a  JMBG. The first victim of such political lechery was the baby girl Berina Hamidovic who died in a hospital in Belgrade, where she was initially transported from Bosnia to receive medical care. Berina was in dire need of bone-marrow transplant, but she could not leave the country. Without a ID No./Social security number she could not get a passport issued. Berina Hamidovic is but one among hundreds of babies currently without a ID No./Social security number.

I condemn the political carelessness of the Bosnian government and other political representatives. I express my discontent with the irresponsible lawmakers. It is paramount that the Bosnian politicians agree on common laws towards the protection of the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina. I support the struggle of the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina to get their voices heard. I support their political will to shape the constitution of their own country.

Podrska protestima u BiH povodom ne usvajanja zakona o JMBG. Licemjerna politika i nacionalisticka retorika doveli su do toga da u BiH ne postoji zakon o jedinstvenom matičnom broju (JMBG) i kao posljedica toga nastala je situacija u kojoj sva djeca rodjena poslije 12. februara nemaju JMBG. Prva zrtva nerada bh vlasti je jednoipomjesecna beba Berina Hamidovic koja je preminula u bolnici u Beogradu nakon zdravstvenih komplikacija zbog kojih je izmjestena u Srbiju na lijecenje. Berina Hamidovic samo je jedna od beba bez maticnog broja, koje su suocene s posljedicama nerada bh vlasti. 

Osudjujem nemar pojedinih bh politicara, iskazujem nezadovoljstvo neodgovornim ponasanjem zakonodavne i izvrsne vlasti u BiH. Misljenja sam da je nuzno da se politicari konacno usaglase i zastite interese gradjana BiH, cime bi spasili zivot neduzne djece. Takodjer, izrazavm potpunu podrsku naporima gradjana Sarajeva i Bosne i Hercegovina.
