To: The Residents Association of Suriaman 3 (S3RA) and its office bearers; Matrix Concepts Holdings Berhad (414615-U); Majlis Perbandaran Nilai (MPN);

We the undersigned, the residents of Suriaman 3 draws to the attention of the Residents Association of Suriaman 3 (and its office bearers), MATRIX CONCEPTS HOLDINGS BERHAD (414615-U) and the local council Majlis Perbandaran Nilai (MPN) that:

1. The allocated / gazetted land for a “Surau” is converted into a “Multi-Purpose Hall” for the use of “all” residents within the residency.
2. The intent of this petition is grounded primarily on “Safety and Security” and the request from majority of the residents residing in the vicinity for a common place i.e. sports area (futsal, badminton court) or a multi-purpose hall which benefits all races within the area.
3. The residents (undersigned) unanimously and unequivocally agree that there shouldn’t be any places of worship to be built within the vicinity with good intent of preserving the present harmonious relationships within the residents of all background and races.
4. The residents (undersigned) propose to discuss this issue in an amicable manner to ensure a “Win-Win” situation for all residents.

Your petitioners (as the undersigned) therefore request the Residents Association of Suriaman 3 (S3RA) to:

1. Call for an “Emergency-General Meeting” – EGM within the next 1 week (from the date of this petition) to discuss any next steps pertaining to the construction of the Surau.
2. Understand and mutually agree to the concerns of the residents and find alternative options (within the Law) to relocate the Surau to a closer proximity outside of the residential area.
3. To immediately “Halt” any activities pertaining to the construction of the Surau and seek the consent of “All” the residents to ensure mutual agreement is formalized.
4. To invalidate any prior “Decisions” originated from the “non-elected Associations / Social Groups” other than Suriaman 3 Residents Association (S3RA).
