My soul is unraveling.
I want people to care about Jews as if the murdered, kidnapped, mutilated, dismembered, beheaded, raped and traumatized were their own. That we Jews matter as human beings. That terror is not ‘justifiable’. That there aren’t ’two sides’ in the face of this barbarous brutality. That ‘context’ is not a used as an excuse. That people rush to embrace the epigenetic trauma event facing my people the way we/I did when people of different ethnic groups and minority identities are threatened, harmed and impacted.
