This world must never ever allow the line between wars fought by militaries and massacres carried out by terrorists to be blurred!
This world must never ever allow guns pointing shooting and killing babies to be justified - ever! This world must never ever allow the raping of women and then parading their limp bodies through the streets to be justified - ever! Once those lines are allowed to be blurred, we are no longer human beings. We are animals. Nothing more.

There is nothing to say. Condemning antisemitism and Jew hate should not be hard. If it is, look inward.

I just shared this note with our Greenwich chapter : “ All, the recent events in Israel have been so jarring. I have been completely flat out — with work, with forum and organizing for our chapter event, with supporting the MED13L Foundation, with family matters — and have been struggling to take in and make sense of the horrors of the last few days. Like many people here, I feel unsophisticated in my understanding of the long and intricate history of Israel and Palestine and I feel hesitant about speaking out for fear of misunderstanding or causing harm. But silence is just plain wrong here. I have Jewish friends who might want to hear from someone like me. And this is not a Jewish issue. It’s not a Palestinian issue. It’s a human event, a horror and tragedy that violates fundamental, universal human truths and effects all of us.
There's no justification for violence against innocent civilians. These videos are beyond horrifying, beyond heartbreaking. There are no words. While I may question narratives and certain Israeli policies, these attacks cannot be excused. Are there grievances by the Palestinian people that must be listened to, must be understood? Of course. Do these attacks justify indiscriminate violence or retribution against Palestine or the broader Islamic community? Of course not. Are there complexities here far beyond most of our understanding? Of course. Must those complexities be understood and addressed with patience, wisdom and compassion for all sides? Of course. But none of this excuses Hamas’ actions. It's vital to condemn Hamas’ actions without making excuses for them.
To those most directly affected by this event, including our members with direct connections to Israel, please accept my deepest condolences. Big big hugs. YPO is about personal — and, yes, spiritual — growth as a leader. It’s about mutual support. It’s an extended chosen family in many ways. If I may be so bold as to speak for the broader chapter:

It’s important to understand - Israel is currently the front line. If you will not make a stand and stay neutral - USA and Europe will be next in couple of years time!
