As you may know, YouTube has announced that they're planning to use an AI to estimate the ages of its users based on things like the videos they watch:

"YouTube’s AI will assess a user’s age via multiple behavioral factors, including what kind of videos the user searches for, the categories of videos they watch, and how long the account has been active, per its blogpost."

As much as we use and respect YouTube, we believe that YouTube's new AI-based age verification can have flaws and hence should be reconsidered. We believe that things like browsing history are a very unreliable as an indicator of the age of an account's owner as multiple people may have used it for different purposes. For example, a parent might've given their child their phone for them to watch videos for kids.
