The feedback from students has been consistent and telling. I am currently working on a formal proposal to take to the department chair.

He's by far the best Professor I have had so far. I am a Finance and MIS student, and Professor Gilani manages to combine the best of both worlds. In addition, he's amazing at keeping students engaged in programming even if they don't have prior experience in the topic. Would take him again without hesitation!
One of the best professors I've had at Rutgers Newark. Motivates students to learn and goes out of his way to explain topics. Makes class fun and interesting.
I took his Investment modeling R class and he was really awesome and organized.
The best professor, great technique and proven expertise.
Best professor i have ever had, hands down!
I have heard amazing things about him and I was glad to see him host MISA's Facebook event as he was very charismatic and personable. These are traits that MIS professors need these days in order to keep the student's attention.

Prof Gilani is truly one of the best professors at Rutgers Business School. As a finance major I believe his class was the only class that pulled together programming and finance. He should definitely teach more classes!
