My only concern is expansion. It should have been at least started by now.

I’ve been attending this masjid for years, and it’s disheartening to see how little progress has been made—especially when you look just a few miles away at places like MCC, ISWA, MFC, and Al-Huda. Those communities are thriving: welcoming environments, growing facilities, and strong leadership. They serve as examples of what’s possible when a masjid puts the community first.
Unfortunately, ICCL continues to fall short. Every year, we hear the same promises—to break ground, to expand, to improve—but nothing materializes. Instead, what we see is internal politics and a lack of transparency. It feels less like a community and more like a divided space run by opposing groups with no clear direction.
To be honest, it may be time for a complete reset. Leadership on both sides should consider stepping down and giving the broader community a real opportunity to take charge. This masjid has so much potential, but that potential will never be realized without unity, accountability, and a genuine commitment to serve the people.

It is so sad that the ICCL management is displaying such arrogant ignorance in dealing with serious matters close to the community causing a lot of hurt.

ICCL leadership and staff should have a positive professional attitude and respect to entire community members. Should be honest, respectful and hold the highest integrity according to Islamic teachings. Listen to the community members for any suggestions or recommendations to improve ICCL.

I strongly recommend that President should resign from his position and let VP take his position.
