Petition for the removal of Irinej Dobrijevic from Australia - New Zealand as Bishop of SOC

The sooner we see the back of irinej the better

Im dissapointed for two reasons: 1. That this moron was sent to Australia to oversee the destruction of our church and community And 2. The lack of fight we have and are putting up against him . I take my hat off to the person or persons that have taken the step to get this petition going but i have to ask where are the rest of the 250,000 Serbs that live here ?? Surely you arent all blind to whats been taking place the past few years , or are we too scared to have a say ? I always thought that the Serbs living here were more passionate than anywhere in the world or is that just when they're under the influence of alcohol that we beat our chests . Our tradition and culture are at stake here , this is no joke . If there was ever a time we needed to stand up as one it is now

Do i agree with this petition ? WHOLEHEARTEDLY !!! I used to be a member of my local church parish in Cabramatta , St George , myself along with roughly 250 other members had our memberships cancelled by Prota Djura and his committee . I havent been back there for about 7 yrs now and dont intend on going back . The way in which the events that were orchestrated down unfolded were disgraceful , the wheelings and dealings to oust the members that opposed the new constitution clearing the way for the obedient followers . After those experinces i highly doubt whether myself and my family will ever return to the church where we basically grew up . Our faith is in the firing line of some drastic changes which i want no part off , Pravoslavlje the way we knew it has gone and so has our unity , it will take a miracle to come back from this one

I hope this petition works but i doubt it . The Serbian Orthodox Church in Belgrade sent irinej here with an agenda and he has their full backing . They ( SOC) know exactly what is going here in Australia. I agree that the current Bishop needs to go , hes had more than enough time here and his results speak for themselves , they are nothing short of disasterous . What scares me is ,, if he gets his marching orders ,, who will replace him ? Very sad and testing times for the Serbian people Ps good on you guys for getting this petition together , its good to see people trying to do something

Mirko Dobrijevic is a disgrace to the mantija he wears . I hope the a Holy Sinod of the SOC reads through this petition very carefully and do the right thing by the Serbian faithful . The Serbs of Australia have spoken , relieve Dobrijevic of his duties both here and in New Zealand , if they have any idea what they are doing they will get rid of him completely
