Petition for the removal of Irinej Dobrijevic from Australia - New Zealand as Bishop of SOC

Never thought in a million years that i would be throwing my support behind a petition to remove one of our own Vladike , but it just shows how things of changed . In the name of our treasured Orthodox faith i hope this man goes really soon

What type of a human being let alone a bishop would use innocent Serbian children as a pawn in his dirty quest for control . The individual im refering to is dobrijevic of course . At St George church Forest in the ACT that is exactly what happened . The parishioners were first divided , then a carrot was dangled in front of the folklor teacher and the kids to leave Forest and form a new group outside of the church . Those kids and the gulable parents ate the carrot taking their kids away from a Serbian Orthodox Church . That little venture lasted a few months before the group fell apart , leaving the whole of Canberra with no Serbian folkloric group . Our youth are our future but they are nowhere to be seen just as irinej intended . Let's see if this petition can make him dissappear like my kids and their folkor groups did

Good to see Serbs standing up for a change for the right reasons . Its easy to get into a drunken brawl , it takes heaps more courage to rise for something like this . Our faith is under attack , this ones serious

When this fiasco began a few years ago i didnt believe what i was reading making me very confused . What i found unbelievable was the behaviour of the Bishop and some of his Priests , the blatant lies , the cover ups and the twisted propaganda in the newspapers . What i was reading and hearing was extremely different to what i was seeing . Shame on them and their dirty tactics , shame on them for all their lies . And to think i used to go to church and kiss their hands , i just wish i knew then what i know now

No better time then now for a change , but in saying that I'm not a fan at all of the change to our Holy Liturgy and especially when performed in English , its just not right . The only change we need is of vladika

The perfect opportunity has arrived for the people to stand up hand in hand and dispose of the problem that has divided us for a few yrs now. No more ..... Hes a dalmo or shes a crno gorka or whatever , we are all Serbs and its times like these that we must forget all the pety niggling and move on together . United we stand , divided we fall !

We will never learn , why are Serbs so naive ? The church in Belgrade has been preparing to take the Free church properties for yrs . that bishop who lives somewhere in Sydney's red light district has the full support of the church in serbia, you guys have my support but your petition might aswell go to dobrijevic himself , its not gonna make a difference i hope im wrong

Out of all the Bishops that have been in Australia irinej has to be the worst . I've never seen such an arrogant pig in my life like him . Makes me sick to see the mess he has made here . How can the Macedonians get rid of their Bishop and we cant , even the Serbians in Canada got rid of their vladika but we are still stuck with our one ?
