Hitting shelves everywhere in 2003, the videogame Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (also known as KotOR) was a massive hit. It introduced a whole new generation to the mystical and wonderful Star Wars universe while also bringing back older fans who wanted to experience a new adventure. KotOR was to RPG's as Asteroids was to arcade games: it offered a vast universe that was ripe with adventure as it was filled with dynamic characters, such as Darth Revan, exotic locale, like the wretched cesspool of Nar Shaddaa, and a gorgeous musical score that rivaled even the brilliant John Williams. KotOR would go on to produce a critically acclaimed sequel as well as numerous spin-offs in the forms of comics and novels. However, fans all over the world plead every day for a KotOR 3, whether it be on internet forums, or even here, in the form of a petition. Sadly, hope for a final installment to provide a satisfactory ending to such a wonderful series has dwindled, until the prospect of such a game has become all but nonexistent. However, many fans still hope that a single spark may ignite the fire in the hearts of others across the globe to spur the production of another game, one that would stand the test of time like its predecessors and introduce a new generation to the wonders and beauty of Star Wars. I truly hope this petition inspires others to take action and sign on. May the Force be with you, always
