We, the signees, oppose Development Application 7911-0044-00, at 59th Ave and 144 Street not as a whole but for the following reasons: • We would like the city to honour the original NCP at 15 upa and not up to 25 upa which equals 144 townhomes. Our schools and infrastructure can’t handle any more density. There are numerous townhome developments around 60th Ave between 148th Street and 152nd Street already. Our NCP has constantly changed from RF lots, to RF12, to RF9 and then to RF 9 with coach homes. Cambridge Elementary is busting at the seams as is Sullivan Secondary. Sullivan Secondary's high enrollment was already a concern in 2004. The rate of development will not support the current infrastructure in place. • Even so approved by the DFO, we would like the setback around the stream running through the development application to remain at 30 meters and not 22 meters. This stream is the main water source for a resident coyote, racoons, skunks, deer, frogs, owls and countless hummingbirds. Most parks around this area are recreational and provide no natural shelter as does this little refuge. Please keep this watershed as buffered as possible.

IMPORTANT! When signing please give your address and phone number in the text or this petition will be void. Thank you so much for your time.

I am truly overwhelmed by the number of people who have stepped forward to protect our local wildlife and schools. These signatures are providing the weight we need to show the city that our infrastructure cannot handle more density. Please know that this momentum is entirely due to your dedication to our neighborhood.

Keep the 30m setback!! Those animals have nowhere else to go in this part of town. You keep shrinking their habitat and wonder why you see them in your yards.

The traffic is already a nightmare around 144. Cant imagine what 144 townhomes will do to our morning commute. Stop the density increase.

LEAVE THE STREAM ALONE. It needs the buffer. Dont be greedy with the land developers.

Cambridge is already overcrowded. My kids lunch hour is basically non existent because of the overpopulation. Enough is enough.

144 units is way too much for that plot. We bought here because of the original plan not this bait and switch stuff.
