Petition for a speed bump

This petition is to add speed bumps on Mahony Avenue. This street is being used as a bypass through traffic when trains are going by on Parkdale and when drivers want to avoid using the lights at Parkdale and Barton. As many of us have witnessed, many drivers are focusing on trying to get to their destination as quickly as possible and avoids stopping at the designated stop sign at Mahony and Guelph. They are not taking responsibility to slow down in this family oriented neighborhood and run the stop sign regularly. We have a lot of families with small children that play in their yards and basketball on our street also people who walks their dogs on a regular basis. We feel it is our duty to take every precaution for the safety of our children but we need your help. We hope you will agree that the addition of speed bumps on this street will considerable add to their safety.
