Harry Reid has no ethics and is a bad example as a Mormon follower.

As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I am beyond displeased at Senator Harry Reid's egregious misrepresentation of our Church in the political spotlight. He has blatantly gone against Church doctrine many times during his political career. He has blemished the good name of our Church, and I passionately request that his potential excommunication from the Church be extensively considered. Thank you for your time.

I don't why he hasn't already been excommunicated. He embraces everything we are told to not embrace.

I think this has been a long time coming. You will know them by their fruits and Mr. Reid's is rotten.

So apparently the guy is an a hole...he is a politician , it's his job. As a member of the LDS church he has made choices (against the beliefs of the church) However, who are we to ask anyone to be kicked out of their church ? That is the private business of the church and him. His religious status is NOT a public issue. Honestly , if he is really doing the job he is actually supposed to be doing, he is supporting what the PEOPLE want, not what he wants or believes or how he worships. I am NOT sticking up for him as a person , but just this issue is why we are supposed to have a separation of church and state . If all of his stances followed along with the beliefs of the church you would be b!+€£ing about that too.

Makes my heart weep to think that people may see this man as an example of what a Christian is. Perhaps this would be a wake-up call so he may repent and be a true witness for God!

He should also be charged with treason and deported.

I am a member of the Kensington Ward, Washington, DC Stake. I don't agree that all of the points raised merit sanction. Yetb thy are al reprehensible, and the man definitely deserves punishment from the Church unless he repents - which, with these actions would need a serious attempt to undo the damage he contributed to.

He has done nothing for the America but only himself and Obama. He has been a deterent not a help to our country and he tells untruths at a drop of a hat . If that is mormon you keep it.
