I am ashamed as devout follower of Jesus Christ that he professes to be a believing member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

If people and organizations such as the LDS were to start cleaning house, we could possibly get this country back on track....I applaud this organization in at least standing by THEIR OWN STANDARD.

So glad to see someone is doing something about this and that Harry Reid is leaving office too.

Mitt Romney is a man who lives the precepts of the Church. Reid is an evil man who will do anything, against anyone for power. He does not deserve to be a church member.

I have long wondered how Mr. Reid ever faced his bishop and answered those interview questions with a straight face.

It's about time someone demands responsibility on the floor of the Senate and I would include the House as well. The electorate is ultimately responsible for some of the outlandish statements made on the floor of both houses of Congress. I commend the Church for speaking out.

He's an insult and embarrassment to the LDS Church.

The corruption of our government from top to bottom is unfathomable and my fear is that the USA has and is being destroyed by our elected officials, no party is exempt. Only God can help us now.

Senators should be honest. Harry Reid is not and has not be for a long time. He needs to be held to a higher standard because of his religion and his office in the senate.

So if you all knew that this was going on for so many years, why the correction now. Looks like maybe you were too scared to do anything as long as he was senator, but now that he is leaving you've decided to go after him.
