Reading these comments makes me physically ill. I can picture the same hate filled remarks being thrown about by the Jews so happy to crucify our savior.

The laws you mention are far from the only requirements for membership in God's kingdom.
Lying in public, backbiting, bearing false witness, and a host of others are also forbidden.
Do you recall the recommend interview questions? Reid has demonstrated his life is not in accord with those minimal requirements.
One, specifically, is that he has lied about, slandered, and defamed a fellow citizen with the Saints. He is unrepentant.
This petition is the wrong way to go about it, but, he has definitely given the Church of Jesus Christ a black eye.
None of us is perfect. But most of us practice what I call "righteous hypocrisy": we try to keep our sins quiet so as to keep our dark side from harming others, and especially the Lord and His church.
Harry Reid, if we assume the evidence before us is accurate, needs to go before a church court to defend himself and his actions. If he is innocent, so be it. If he is guilty, he needs to be released form his covenants so he will no longer accountable for breaking them.
It is not a sin to be a progressive or a Democrat. It is not an affront to God to espouse welfare or other "liberal" positions. But it is to slander, to advocate for abortion, to insist that people who object to them pay for them. Harry Reid has done all of this.

It's between him and the Lord, not "Le Sellers" and a petition. There are plenty of low life scumbags out there, but Reid isn't one of them.

This is the stupidest and most arrogant thing I have seen in a long time. As if any signatories have any direct insight into the worthiness of Harry Reid! Hypocrites and Pharisees one and all!! I can't Reid as a politician but this is way beyond the pale!!
