This is the stupidest and most arrogant thing I have seen in a long time. As if any signatories have any direct insight into the worthiness of Harry Reid! Hypocrites and Pharisees one and all!! I can't Reid as a politician but this is way beyond the pale!!

Harry Reid is a disgrace to his county and his church. His lies on the Senate floor (which he knew protected him from liable) makes him one of the worse politician that ever lived. Has he no shame? He chuckles with wicked glee and actual joy that he was instrumental in defeating Romney. His ego is apparent and the root of his evil. He may escape retribution in this life but surely will not in the next.

The church has made clear that invidual members can have "private" views that are contrary to Church Doctrine and standards and not be disciplined.
However, the moment they "publically" preach and support ideology's and practices that are contrary to church doctrines and teachings, things that are SIN especially, then that person becomes an enemy to God and to the Church.
Harry Reid by supporting the modern Democrat platform, based in liberalism/progressivism, and communism and socialism is directly fighting against and promoting beliefs and practices entirely contrary to the doctrines of the Church.
At the very least he should not have a Temple Recommend, but at the most because his actions are willful, he should be excommunicated, and should have been a LONG time ago.
Shame on Harry Reid, and shame on his leaders who allow such a man to corrupt the Church. The Democrat party is not the part of JFK etc., men and a party that still had many common values with the Church and conservatism, it is now the party of what used to be the fringe of America, and shunned, the communist/socialist.
Such is anathema to the Gospel of Christ, and Harry Reid and others as he has no business being rewarded by the Church. Excommunication may not be the answer, but removing him from leadership, a Temple Recommend, other callings etc. is warrented at minimum.

It is very disheartening knowing full well the church will not excommunicate a "famous" person with a title. So sad the church PR will always prize the title of "Senate Majority Leader" on lists of "famous Mormons" over doing the right thing and standing firmly for honest constitutional practice. He LIED on the floor of the U.S. Senate!! Today he called fellow republican senators "losers". . .Oh, but his is famous--you have your pass! Captain Moroni turns over in his grave yet again!

While not Mormon my daughter is doing everything in her power to be accepted at BYU-Provo. As her parents we believe that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints represents what we, as Christians, have tried to instill in our children. We want her to continue her formal education at a school grounded in integrity and among people who have made integrity the cornerstone of their lives. Senator Reid does not, in my esteem, live up to that.

All the politicl posturing and behind closed door meetings that may be taking place to help him possibly save face as he decides to "retire"is crap. No one has the guts to make the tough decisions and take action. He will probably stay in Nevada, vote in abstencia and fade into the desert sunset next election. All this time collecting every penny he can suck from the budget.
Doesn't matter his religion,the man is a parasite without a worrie in the world.

His actions have given me reason to doubt his membership in the church. He has always put himself before people and his responsibility in govt. He is self- rightous and interested in only making his name connected with the corruption in our country remove him and his policies now.

If he is not reprimanded for his evil, it puts a very large black stain on the entirety of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It is very sad that the church has not done so earlier.
