We the residents, students, and supporters of Isla Vista, hereby petition for the creation of a skatepark in the heart of a thriving highly social community, located in the “loop”. Isla Vista is known for a creative, young, and diverse community with a skatepark being created here it will fund the needs of art and promote physical activity in a safe area of the community. A skatepark in this area would gather students, and create an opportunity for special events to be held through a school community.
