Some of the HOA Board members have been serving now for two years and need to step down and allow new residents to come and join the Board.

Please review the following:

1) The Crestwood Chronicle started many years ago and is supposed to be published every month, showing a detailed and itemized Treasurer's Report, Architectural Control Committee's updates, Crestwood Social Events, and any new updates.

2) The present Board has not been taking care of the responsibilities of Crestwood Estates. a) Both Councilman Sharp and Developer Bruce Weiner, along with residents asked for a street light to be placed at the end of Bentwood several times and nothing has been done, b) Several residents have requested copies of a detailed and itemized Treasurer's Report, c) It had been discussed in prior meetings the concern of Cameras. Security Cameras need to be placed at both entrances, as well as, at the playground, and they must be monitored. d) When any Board Member is contacted about any issue, where the Sheriff's Office needs to be called, but informs residents that he/she (Board Member) does not have the time to handle the issue, then they need to step down off the Board. e) Seniors-The HOA Board should not fine or write a letter to any Senior concerning their high grass, overgrown garden, broken mailbox, etc. Instead the HOA should have a Senior Committee that will assist Seniors with their problems. (This could be considered Senior Abuse.) f) The HOA has a responsibility to keep peace at each and every Board Meeting. If there is anyone, who is a Nuisance, they should be asked to leave. In the past, HOA meetings would have a Deputy present. g) If the HOA cannot show a detailed Treasurer's Report to residents, then the HOA needs to discuss the raising of dues with residents before raising them. h) We need a new HOA who is willing to cooperate with residents of Crestwood and not threaten to put liens and fines on them. i) This HOA has not kept up the Chronicle each month, kept up the Website with up-to-date information. Residents are entitled to see the Treasurer's Report at all times to see where the use of residents' money is going in a detailed and itemized report. j) Social Events - When funds are spent on Social Events, it needs to be detailed in the Treasurer's Report. k) Legal Fees also need to be detailed. l) Residents who reside by the playground should be given some respect from the HOA. The playground is for small children and is not a place for teenagers to hang out, all hours of the night, playing loud music in their vehicles, possibly carrying drugs, loud talking with their friends and keeping families from sleeping at night. This Park has always closed around 9:00 PM at night. Some parents work on weekends, as well.

HOPEFULLY, this brings everything to the attention of each and every Crestwood HOA Board Member and that this present Board understands that Crestwood Estates is one of the most delightful subdivisions on the Northshore. We would all like to keep it that way by assisting each other and not trying to cause trouble here in Crestwood.
