No explanation was provided. We are setting up this petition for the following reasons:

1) There were no explanation to 'Why' the rule changes. Some parents have had kids in this centre for many years, and over the years, there was no changes whatsoever. Why is the sudden change? As parents, we are extremely concerned about the air-condition environment. Some children can take it better than others. Some parents highlighted that this concern on 25 July 2014, but were told that they can wear long pants. It doesn't take a medical professional to tell you that the coldest part of the body to lose heat are the head, hands and feet. Even with long pants, it may not be sufficient for some kids.

2) Secondly, the manner in which this matter is handled is extremely disappointing. We signed up with the centre at the beginning of the year with the conditions that we know. And now, in the middle of the term I add, the conditions change. Even if parents are unhappy with the conditions, it is hard to find a vacancy in another centre. Such changes which affects the well-being of the kids should be communicate well in advance.

I hope the parents with children in this centre will join in this petition. I personally think that this change is UNACCEPTABLE, in the manner it was handled or implemented, and in the fact that there is no perfectly good reason for it.
