Born in Mexico, Marlene has lived in the U.S. since she was six years old. After graduating from Norman High School, she was planning on pursuing a career in the dental field, but her plans were put at a halt after immigration put her in detention. Marlene, 23, had applied for DACA, but she was detained before her papers were processed. A member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, she is always willing to lend a helping hand. She is a great part of our community, and to take her away from us would be heartbreaking.

Bring her home!
Our community is worse off without her. She was doing everything right and just got unlucky with the timing. Let her come back to her life here.

Marlene is such a sweet girl. She helped me out so much at church and she really belongs here. Praying for her family tonight.
I went to school with her and she is honestly one of the kindest people I know. Needs to be home where she belongs.
