almost everytime I turn around new laws are passed restricting the areas in which smokers can smoke. Even though smokers go out of their way to respect those that do not smoke it seems the laws that are passed and those who make them do not consider the impact on the people that do smoke. Why should those that smoke respect those who don't when they are not return the favor. I ask to bring back the smoking car on the train and to bring back a smoking section in the airport with proper ventilation and separation that are adequate so as we can all live together without stepping on one another's rights.in some places you can smoke outside and that's okay if you live in a warm climate but if you live in places like Oregon or Alaska for example,smoking outside is not really an option it's uncomfortable and many establishments are losing lots of their business because there's no way someone's going to stand outside when it's below zero. The solution to the problem is simple create smoking areas with the proper ventilation. just because someone smokes does not mean they should be treated like a second class citizen and even if I didn't smoke I would still feel the same way personally.
