Petition for Safety Improvements at High Knob Entrance (Route 55 and High Knob Road), Warren County, Virginia

I am a first responder. I have cut people out of their cars at this intersection. I have seen dead people in their cars at this intersection. WE NEED A TURNING LANE AND A LIGHT.

Vehicular safety is very important. Please save lives and make the necessary improvements to this issue.

Yes please! Also, a mirror/sign needs to added along 891 High Knob Rd curve!

Reducing the speed would shorten stopping distance to avoid collisions. It would also reduce injury risk and vehicle damage when accidents do happen.

I frequently drive through this area and agree that action needs to be taken.

The entrance is safe for all this two travel down 55 and not just those who live on High Knob. Everyone is at risk and some sort of change needs to be made in order to keep the community safe.

I travel this road regularly and something needs to be done so folks can safely turn into/out of High Knob.

It has always been a major concern. Something needs to be done. Someone is going to get severely hurt or die. I don't want that to be the case.

Very dangerous area for homeowners and regular traffic. I can't even count the number of accidents that I am aware of there in my 51 years here.

Please fix high knob entrance before multiple fatalities happen!

High knob entrance has been a safety concern for years, nothing so far has limited the amount of accidents at the entrance to High Knob Rd

I get nervous every time I approach the entrance coming from Linden.
