This is an exceptionally dangerous intersection. We've witnessed numerous accidents, many serious, during the time we've lived here. Cars crest the mountain, gather speed, and crash into vehicles attempting turns midway down the slope. Crashes force cars to back up for miles. A fix is desperately needed.

I had a terrible accident at the entrance going home. I got struck from behind and sandwiched between two cars. My just paid off car was totaled and I still have a sore neck from time to time do to the impact.

We have lived in High Knob for 4, almost 5 years. We have had several near misses while waiting to turn left into High Knob. When accidents happen there, traffic is often stopped in both directions for a long time. Leaving country residents stranded in traffic for who knows how long while the road is cleared. Forcing people to turn around in the middle of the road to take an alternate route to get home or pick up their children from after school care in time. This is a very dangerous intersection and the road needs a turn late and the hill flattened like they did on 29 between Gainesville and Warrenton. This would give a lot more visibility!!

Very dangerous to turn into neighborhood. I find myself bracing for impact many times when cars come flying over the hill.

I’ve seen a few “near misses”. Sometimes it takes 5 minutes to safely turn left (West) out of the High Knob development.

I am a resident of high knob and have almost been hit many times turning left into the neighborhood. A truck had to pass me in the grass and on the hill to the right to avoid collision at a high rate of speed. I don’t know how he didn’t rear end me. I’ve only lived in the neighborhood for 3 years.
