We should be encouraging health and wellbeing, this particular route is so popular for cyclists and there has been way too many accidents.

It's something that's been needed to be done for years

A horrible car crash occurred at the traffic lights in Inchmore on the afternoon of Sat 23rd March because a driver did not slow down for a car intending to turn off for Kirkhill! No-one hurt but that could so easily have been a cyclist or pedestrian! Drivers on this road MUST slow down

These are measures are desperately needed. The crossing is used by schoolchildren amongst other people daily. Let’s prevent a terrible accident before it’s too late.

The position of the pedestrian crossing especially during the school run timing will be safer with a lower speed limit.

I’d like all children, including my relatives, to be safer and feel able to cycle to school.

Walking and cycling to school helps to set important lifelong habits of being active. The health consequences of physical inactivity are huge. Communities should be more for the people who live there than for the flow of traffic through. Slowing the traffic, additional pavement and improved signage should help make it safer to walk and cycle here.

Too many times I have used the crossing and vehicles have driven right through the lights at red. It is very dangerous and an accident waiting to happen.
