The fans and media alike are already tired of the way the game of football in the "professional" form has mutated due to the state of officiating displayed by these replacement referees. The games themselves have devolved into a waiting game of who will break first and to what point the tension will escalate to. This continuing trend will negate all that has been put forth in the past few years in terms of player safety. We as the fans will not stand-by and simply watch for the sake of watching as the sport dwindles into a backyard brawl
