I am very concerned with the competence of the authority who approved this order. It reflects who is sitting in administration, have no experience of the research work and making rules for research community. Don't know where my country leading.

It’s alike I’m working in corporate, on hourly wage.
If it’s improves working environment, pls apply it on everyone working in IIT. (including Profs and staff).
Rules like this doesn’t have any meaning as I can go department and mark my attendance and come back to room. And again repeat it in evening.

The requirement of marking biometric attendance twice daily is highly inconvenient and disrupts the academic and research-oriented nature of our work. As researchers, our schedules often involve library visits, and irregular working hours, making strict biometric compliance impractical. We request the authorities to reconsider this policy and adopt a more flexible system suited to academic responsibilities.

I stay in the lab till 3 am..it will become almost impossible to give biometric attendance by 10 am..I strongly oppose the rule which has been recently bestowed upon the research scholars.

Dear sir
Most of the time I use to work during night hours and forget to mark attendance during evening time due to ongoing research work. I don’t think so it’s a good decision to apply boundations on research scholars of such prestigious institutions.
